Uses:
- expandable polystyrene (EPS): used for thermo-insulation of facades, walls, ceilings
- extruded polystyrene (XPS): used to insulate undergrounds and bathrooms, thermal bridges, refrigerating rooms, flooring, reversed plane roofing
The thicker the polystyrene board, the higher the thermal resistance and lesser the heat lost.
