Yesterday, Metabras SA organized, while celebrating its 10th year of activity on the market, a presentation of the latest technological line acquired as part a Ricop financed project. The EUR 115,000 fastening-iron bending machine - presented yesterday - was purchased in the beginning of the summer, and is used- according to drafts and plans received from customers - for processing of reinforced concrete of coils with diameter of up to 12 mm, as well as processing fastening iron bars of up to 32 mm in diameter.
This is cutting-edge technology computer-controlled equipment that minimizes the chances of production errors, and helps increasing production capacity. With the help of this technological line the cost for processing of 1 kg of fastening iron is reduced, as well as wastes and process losses. Other benefits are better quality of the products and no transport and handling costs for raw fastening iron. The yesterday’s presentation was featured by another product to be sold by Metabras SA - steel spring joint - a fast solid and safe solution between the longitudinal and cross steel bars that provides accuracy to joints positioning
