Steel fibres are specially designed to reinforce concrete, plasters and other cement-based mixtures.
The steel fibers are small steel threads with a resistance to rupture of 1000 ... 1450 Mpa, incorporating the entire mass of the concretes, resulting into a consistent mixture of metal fibre and concrete. By adding the adding-up the steel fibres, the fragile concrete is turned into an elastic and reliable material. The elasticity of the material secures the high resistance to rupture of the final product. The use of such fibres allows reduction of concrete section so that a cost reduction is ultimately possible
The steel fibres with hook-shaped edges ensure an optimal anchorage into the concrete structure, whose result is a high resistance to elongation. The breaking of the fibres is prevented by the high resistance to rupture of the material they are made of.
The balanced geometry of the metal fibres ensures the perfect mixture in fresh concrete and produces exceptional results for the hardened concrete.
The steel fibres are used for: concrete pipelines, support walls, thin facade elements, prefab stairs, airport runways, lost shuttering, tunnel consolidation works of injected concrete.
