Research and development
Metabras develops experimental research through systematic and creative activities, initiated to enlarge our knowledge, including about people and culture.
Thus, using the knowledge acquired doing researches and in practice, Metabras launches into production new materials and products, introduces new concepts, systems and services or significantly improves the systems and services already existing.
As of 1998, Metabras has been operating in the new headquarters built as a result of expending the activity and higher staffing. The headquarters in Brasov hosts office buildings, production halls, car fleet and modern products handling equipments.
The long-term investment program included opening of a new business unit in Brasov and in 2006 Metabras invested approximately EUR 1.1 million to equip and build a metallic storage hall of 3,500 sqm. Similarly, we implemented a program of investments in cutting-edge technologies aimed at maximizing the steel services quality. Currently we own a regional Steel Service Center (SSC), provided with: automatic line of equipments for processing of concrete steel in coils and bars and the latest CNC technology for oxygas and plasma cutting of metal sheet.
Reengineering and investments in modern equipments are prerequisites for preserving and increasing the level of quality.
